Looking at the the movies I have, those I have seen, and those I am watching again with Mary... I realize that my favorite ones are those that show virgin wilderness, that present anthropologic and cultural aspects, those that exhibit authentic values, others than those that triumph in today's world.

Although, in real life, the true Grey Owl wasn't an exemplary person in every aspect, I never tire watching the film about him directed by Richard Attenborough in 1999, and starring Pierce Brosnan and Annie Galipeau.
What a GREAT post, and what a good movie to watch together. I enjoy your intellect and ability to analyze what you've seen and heard.
